The Last Jedi explained; Weekend Box Office: The Great Wall, A Cure For Wellness, Fist Fight; More seasons of Stranger Things; Amazon Electric Dreams; Coen Brothers Scarface; Planet of the Apps; Batman & Suicide Squad; Castlevania; The Expanse

  • THE LAST JEDI: We finally have some clarification of the upcoming Star Wars title, thanks to the release of the German and Spanish versions. It appears as if Jedi is meant to be plural. So who will the last Jedi be?
  • WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: It's a bit of a clunker this weekend with The Great Wall, A Cure For Wellness and Fist Fight all debuting. We recommend sticking with Lego Batman, or John Wicke 2.
  • STRANGER THINGS SEASONS: The Duffer Brothers have revealed that they have big plans for the series beyond season 2. Also, it appears an otherworldly pet, may be joining the cast.
  • AMAZON SECURES ELECTRIC DREAMS: Bryan Cranston will Executive Produce a new anthology series based on Philip K Dick's short stories, called Electric Dreams. Will this be Amazon's Black Mirror?
  • COEN BROTHERS MEET SCARFACE: The Scarface remake is happening, focusing on a Mexican immigrant version, most likely starring Diego Luna. Now we know that the Coen Brothers are writing the script.
  • PLANET OF THE APPS: Apple has made it no secret that they would like to get into the original content game. A trailer for a Will.i.am. led show called Planet of the Apps has now debuted. It's....not looking great.
  • DC DIRECTORS: Batman has the line on new director, in Cloverfield's Matt Reeves. The Suicide Squad 2 movie is surprisingly pitching Mel Gibson to join up and direct.
  • CASTLEVANIA ANIMATED SERIES: Netflix will be producing at least 2 seasons of animated show based on the iconic video game series, Castlevania. Adi Shankar will produce and claims it will be the "western worlds's first good video game adaptation."
  • THE EXPANSE: The series is based on the book and actually debuted in 2015. However, with season 2 currently airing, it's gaining a lot of traction. We give a full review and let you know what it compares to.
