  • LA LA LAND: The Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone movie just got a much wider release after receiving a record-tying 14 OSCAR NOMINATIONS. We cover a bit of it and take a look at the rest of the major nominations from the Academy.
  • THE FLASH MOVIE: DC's Justice League is out later this year, but the solo film for one of the main stars has been delayed again. Word is that the studio has ordered the current script scrapped, and wants a complete re-write for The Flash.
  • X-MEN ON TV: Legion is set to premier soon, but it won't be the only X-Men TV franchise. Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg are producin another X-Men series for FX.
  • VIDEO GAME TO MOVIE TO VIDEO GAME: Arcade classic Rampage, will be heading to the big screen, starring The Rock. Conversely, Apocalypse Now will be heading to a video game, thanks to a Francis Ford Coppola Kickstarter. Which franchises do you think should make the leap to the other platform?
  • THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE: The Amazon series based on the Philip K. Dick novel takes place in an America where the Germans and Japanese won WWII. It's renewed for a Season 3 and we give you a rundown of what the series is actually all about.
  • BETWEEN THE CRACKS: I AM NOT A SERIAL KILLER: Is it a horror, or a comedy, or a horror-comedy? Whatever you want to call it, this film is nothing, if not original. We think it's one you need to check out on Netflix.

Logan trailer; Weekend Box Office: XXX: The Return of Xander Cage; The Founder; Split; Star Trek Update; Seinfeld to Netflix; Snatch TV Series; Will and Grace returns; The Power Rangers new movie; The Rock as Black Adam; Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2.

  • LOGAN TRAILER: The newest trailer for Hugh Jackman's last portrayal of Wolverine is out and it is clearly going to be a different kind of superhero movie.
  • WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: XXX: The Return of Xander Cage appears to be Fast and the Furious meets James Bond. A star-studded, perhaps Oscar-worthy movie called The Founder is out, chronicling the founding of the McDonald's franchise. Split marks the return of M. Night Shyamalan with James McAvoy playing 23 different characters.
  • STAR TREK: DISCOVERY UPDATE: The series is facing yet another delay, however a huge casting/character has been added. James Frain (True Detective, Orphan Black) has been cast as Sarek, Spock's Father!
  • SEINFELD HEADS TO NETFLIX: Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has officially been acquired by Netflix, moving the entire series to the platform. Also in the deal, more season of CICGC and 2 new stand-up specials.
  • SNATCH GOES TO TELEVISION: Guy Ritchie's Snatch movie is heading to Crackle as a television series. It looks pretty great, starring none other than Harry Potter's Rupert Grint.
  • WILL AND GRACE: We always talk about reboots of series, but this one stands out, as the entire cast is back for a brand new season of the popular series that started in the 90's.
  • NEW POWER RANGERS TRAILER: This may be the most mainstream Power Rangers movie yet, detailing the origin story of this group of super heroes.
  • THE ROCK BECOMES BLACK ADAM: Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has finally been cast as DC's Black Adam. He's lobbied for the roll for years and this looks like it could be fantastic.
  • GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 2: We're finding out more about the upcoming sequel, including the fact that Nebula will be taking on a more prominent role.
